Shadowdark: Frostmire and the Catacombs of Whispering Rats

Frostmire and the Catacombs of Whispering Rats is a sandbox adventure designed for characters in the Shadowdark RPG system, levels 1st - 3rd. There is enough content to take characters from 1st well into 3rd level while intentionally falling short of 4th level.

Written to encourage GM embelishment, the module includes maps for the town of Frostmire and the catacombs nearby and several adventure hooks including:

• Solving a string of murders involving a werebat.
• Foiling a hag's plans to abduct children.
• Keeping a dangerous artifact out of cultist hands.
• Defeating an ancient evil unwittingly released into the catacombs.
• Curing a plague threatening to wipe out the town.

The module also includes unique magic items and monsters.
